   Stopping for Gas

Kathy and Evan finish their picture taking and continue driving.
E:Uh-oh. My gas gauge 1 is way down. I'd better stop someplace for gas.
K:There's always a gas station or two at every exit of a highway. Just take the next exit.
E:As luck would have it, there's an exit right here. You're right. There's the sign for gas. I'll get off here.
(Evan drives off the ramp 2 and along the road to the nearest gas station. An attendant 3 comes out to their car.)
E:Good morning. Er, do you speak English?
A:Some. Not too good. Can I help you?
E:Yes, would you please fill 'er up?
  A:I'm sorry?
E:Uh, I'd like some gas. As much as you can.
A:Oh! I see. Just a minute. (She fills the tank.)
E:Thank you. Do you take credit cards?
  A:Sorry?
E:(showing her a credit card) Do you take these?
  A:Ya! Visa! Just a minute.
E:(to Kathy) I guess credit cards are the international language!
