核心短语】ais and graces
解词释义】airs的意思是“高傲的样子”或“做作的姿态”。Grace的意思是“优雅”。两个意思的结合就是“为了引起别人的注意而故作姿态”，由此引申为“妆模作样，装腔作势”。
典型范例1】 I cannot stand his airs and graces——he is just an ordinary person like us.
