The spider turned him round about, and went into his den 1, 蜘蛛转过身，走进他的书房，
For well he knew the silly fly would soon come back again; 因为他知道愚蠢的苍蝇会很快回来；
So he wove a subtle web in a little corner sly, 所以他编了一个微妙的网页在一个角落里偷偷，
And set his table ready to dine upon the fly. 把桌子准备吃饭在飞。
Then he came out to his door again, and merrily did sing: 然后他再次走出门外，快活地唱：
"Come hither, hither, pretty fly, with the pearl and silver wing; “过来，过来，漂亮的飞，用珍珠和银翅；

Hearing his wily,flattering words, came slowly flitting by. 听到他的老谋深算，谄媚的话，慢慢地飞了过去。
With buzzing wings she hung aloft, then near and nearer drew, 嗡嗡作响的翅膀她挂在空中，近近画然后，
Thinking only of her brilliant eyes, her green and purple hue— 只想她明亮的眼睛，她的绿色和紫色—
Thinking only of her crested 4 head—poor foolish thing! At last, 只想着她的头冠可怜的愚蠢的事情！最后，
Up jumped the cunning spider, and fiercely held her fast! 狡猾的蜘蛛跳了起来，猛地将她快！
