Stop that! the woman said. Bran heard the sudden slap of flesh on flesh, then the man’s laughter. "少说这种话！"女人斥道。布兰听到突如其来的皮肉拍打，接着又听见男人的笑声。

Bran pulled himself up, climbed over the gargoyle 1, crawled out onto the roof. This was the easy way. 布兰决定往上攀，翻过石像鬼，爬到屋顶上。这是比较容易的路径，
He moved across the roof to the next gargoyle, right above the window of the room where they were talking. 他跑到下一只石像鬼雕像旁，恰好在传出说话声的房间正上方。
All this talk is getting very tiresome 2, sister, the man said. Come here and be quiet. "好姐姐，尽说些这种事，说得我都累了。"男人说，"闭上嘴巴过来吧。"
Bran sat astride the gargoyle, tightened 3 his legs around it, and swung himself around, upside down. 布兰跨坐在石像鬼雕像上，两腿夹紧，然后整个人头朝下倒转过去。
He hung by his legs and slowly stretched his head down toward the window. The world looked strange upside down. 他两脚紧勾住石像，缓缓地把头靠近窗边。上下颠倒的世界感觉非常怪异，
A courtyard swam dizzily below him, its stones still wet with melted snow. 庭院在他下方天旋地转地晃动，砖石上还留有未化的残雪。
Bran looked in the window. 布兰从窗外向里看去。
Inside the room, a man and a woman were wrestling. They were both naked. Bran could not tell who they were. 房间内一男一女正扭成一团，两人都没穿衣服。布兰认不出他们是谁，
The man’s back was to him, and his body screened the woman from view as he pushed her up against a wall. 男人背对着他，不断地将女人往墙边推挤，他的身体恰好挡住了女人的脸。
There were soft, wet sounds. Bran realized they were kissing. He watched, wide-eyed and frightened, his breath tight in his throat. 屋内有种细小而濡湿的声音，布兰发觉他们正在亲嘴。他张大眼睛，呼吸急促，惊恐地看着房里发生的这一切。
The man had a hand down between her legs, and he must have been hurting her there, because the woman started to moan, low in her throat. 男人伸手到女人两腿间，他一定弄痛了她，因为女人开始低声呻吟：
Stop it, she said, stop it, stop it. Oh, please?.?.?.? But her voice was low and weak, and she did not push him away. "别……别这样，"她说，"住手，住手，噢，求求你……"可她的声音细小微弱，又始终没有把他推开。
Her hands buried themselves in his hair, his tangled 4 golden hair, and pulled his face down to her breast. 她反而把双手埋进他凌乱的亮金色头发里，把他的脸往自己胸前拉。
