Some animals are smarter than humans. Take the intelligent dolphin as an example. After just a few weeks in captivity 1, it can train humans to throw it fish.

有一些动物比人类还聪明。
“human”和“human being"都是指“人类”。但前者通常是相对于动物而言的；后者更强调有血有肉有感情的人类，因为being是表示生命的存在。
2. Take the intelligent dolphin as an example.
以聪明的海豚为例。
句中的“as an example”也可以写成for example。
3. After just a few weeks in captivity, it can train humans to throw it fish.
只要几个星期的囚禁之后，它就可以训练人类扔鱼给它。
