By now everyone’s heard of Digital Versatile 1 Disk or DVD.Movie companies are pumping out the titles,and digital hungry comsumers have made the new format 2 one of the fastest growing in history .Now pioneer ,the Stereo equipment maker 3 ,is adding to the DVD desire,with is DVDRW,or Read Write.You can use a unit like this to record TV shows in perfect digital playback.

Recordable DVDs are just one of the new technologies for recording 5 television. Hardd drive recorders ,like Tivo ,are also very popular, but you can’t move the recording with Tivo ,you can’t take a copy over to a friend’s house, because it’s locked inside the unit.Recordable DVD can be moved from one player to another .The only thing you won’t be able to do is record other movies.

Recordable DVDs are easier to store than VHS tapes, plus they’re indexible, you can record several different shows on one disk ,and skip right to the show you want to watch , no fast forwarding or rewinding.

可录DVD正是一项可用来录制电视的新科技之一，像TIVO这样的硬驱录像机也是相当流行的，但用TIVO录制的东西不能移动，你不能复制一份拿到朋友家里看。因为它被锁在装置里面；而可录DVD则可从一个播放器移到别一个播放器。唯一你做不到的事情是录制其它电影。

可录DVD比家用录像带更容易保存，而且它们可加上索引，你可以在同一张碟上录上几个不同的节目，然后不用快进或快退，就可以即时跳到你想看的节目上。
