Tori Amos是许多女性的Sexy，她的声音和气质都让我着迷，我从来都欣赏这种有思想的女歌手，因为她同那些只会做傀儡的人有本质的区别。1963年八月出生于美国北卡罗莱纳，从小就表现出了音乐天赋。她从两岁半开始弹钢琴，五岁进入巴尔地摩Peabody音乐学院学习。在学校她喜欢上了Led Zeppelin的音乐（呵呵我也听这个乐队），渐渐对古典音乐失去了兴趣,并因此退学.离开学校后Tori在华盛顿的地下酒吧弹钢琴为生，开始大量创作属于自己的音乐。后来她不幸被一个好友强暴，这很大程度上改变了她的生活。在中国很少有人知道她，但是她的歌曲却被很多明星翻唱过，如王菲。
