　　Chapter Four The Abandoned House

　　第四章废弃的古宅
　　Megan looks at the old house and says, "Look at the writing above the door: HOME OF ABIGAIL CROSS OCTOBER 31, 1627 - SEPTEMBER 22, 1692
　　梅格恩看了看古宅说，“看，这门上写了东西：阿比盖尔·克劳斯之家 1627年10月31号—1692年9月22号
　　Who is Abigail Cross? Look at the date: September 22 1692.
　　谁是阿比盖尔·克劳斯？看这个日期”：1692年9月22号。
　　Do you remember the tombstones? Many of them have the same date."
　　你们还记得那些墓碑吗？他们中许多都是同一个日期。
　　"You are right," says Susan.
　　“你说的没错，”苏珊说。
　　"Let me look in my new book, Salem and the Witches of 1692."
　　“让我看看我这本新书，《塞勒姆和1692年的女巫们》
　　After a few minutes Susan says, "Oh, no! Abigail Cross is a witch. Her name is in this book. I don't like this old house."
　　过了几分钟后苏珊说，”哦，不！阿比盖尔·克劳斯是一名女巫。她的名字在这本书上。我不喜欢这座古宅。
　　"Let's find another place for the party," says Kelly.
　　“让我们另找一个聚会的地方吧，”凯丽说。
　　"You girl are silly! This is perfect!" says Bill. "Come on! Follow me!"
　　“你们女孩子就是傻瓜！这里很完美！”比尔说。“来吧！跟我来！”
　　Bill is the first to enter the house. Nick and the girls follow.
　　比尔第一个进入房子。尼克和女孩们随后跟着。
　　It is very cold inside. There is a big room with an old table, chairs and cupboard.
　　里面很阴冷。大房间里有古老的桌椅和碗柜。
　　On the wall there is an old portrait of a woman.
　　墙上有一幅古老的女人的肖像。
　　She is wearing a long black dress. She has a red rose in her hand. Her eyes are dark and evil 1.
　　她穿着黑色长裙。手上有一只红玫瑰。她的的眼睛深邃而且邪恶。
　　"This portrait is very old.
　　“这幅自画像很老了。
　　There's a date at the bottom. It says June 1659," says Megan.
　　底下有日期。上面写着1659年六月，”梅格恩说。
　　"It's probably a portrait of Abigail Cross," says Nick.
　　“可能是阿比盖尔·克劳斯的画像，”尼克说。
　　"She's looking at us and she's... smiling!" says Megan.
　　“她正看着我们，而且她还在...微笑！”梅格恩说。
　　"What an evil smile!" says Susan.
　　“多么邪恶的微笑！”苏珊说。
　　"Everything here is so old and scary," says Kelly.
　　“这里的所有东西都又古老又恐怖，”凯丽说。
　　"I like it," says Nick. "We can make spooky decorations and light candles.
　　“我喜欢这，”尼克说。“我们可以做一些毛骨悚然的装饰，然后点上蜡烛。
　　I can bring my portable 2 radio for music."
　　我可以带上我的携带式收音机放音乐。”
　　"First we must clean this house. Then we can make the decorations," says Susan.

　　Nick and Bill go to buy some cleaning products.
