The first batch 1 of China’s aid to civilians 2 in Syria has arrived in the capital Damascus. More than ten thousand blankets arrived on Friday morning, and the next batch of more than ten thousands blankets and twenty thousand quilts will arrive in a week.
They will then be sent to the people in need by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent. More than 2.4 million have fled Syria and fighting has displaced more than 4 million others inside the country.
