奥巴马下馆子刷卡遭拒 被疑信用卡欺诈

Speaking at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, President Barack Obama on Friday mentioned this recent encounter. He attendees his credit card had recently been declined at a restaurant, forcing the First Lady to pick up the tab.
“Rich, I should mention, by the way, that I went to a restaurant up in New York when I was there during the General Assembly, and my credit card was rejected,” Obama said, referring to CFPB Director Richard Cordray.
Press reports indicate the restaurant was Estela, rated one of the best new restaurants of 2014.
“It turned out I guess I don’t use it enough. So they thought there was some fraud going on,” Obama said.
The president said he turned to his wife to pay the tab.
“Fortunately, Michelle had hers. And I was trying to explain to the waitress, no, I really think that I’ve been paying my bills.”

时值9月份，奥巴马总统因为召开联合国大会而赶来纽约。在纽约期间与美国第一夫人米歇尔在曼哈顿下城区的Estela餐厅里用餐。 通过一张餐厅发布在网上的点餐记录，可以发现，奥巴马总统当晚点的餐是欧芹酱配意大利起司（Burrata with salsa verde）以及碳烤面包（charred bread），以及伴有胡桃子与小银鱼的苣菜沙拉（endive salad with walnut 1 and anchovies）。
这家餐厅是仓南山餐厅（Blue Hill at Stone Barns）的一位前职员所开。而奥巴马一家人在这个暑期刚刚在这家餐厅出席他们的御用大厨的婚礼。
