ROME, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Palermo head coach Gian Piero Gasperini said his side "threw away an incredible 1 opportunity" following they drew 2-2 with AC Milan on Tuesday.
The Sicilians were 2-0 up after 47 minutes, only to see Milan scored two goals to bag one point home.
"We stopped after the second goal. Instead of continuing to attack, we stopped at the edge of our own area without defending or playing," said Gasperini.
"We were too passive 2. We threw away an incredible opportunity. We played so well in the first half and start of the second, so there was the chance to continue thanks to the extra space.
"We should've been more aggressive with the defense 3 and the introduction of Bojan between the lines made things difficult for us," he said.
