Co-ops may be a potential compromise in the health care debate. Key senators are saying that a proposal to create health care co-ops may solve some huge differences between democrats 2 and republicans. The none-profit co-ops will be based on the model of agricultural co-ops that means they would be paid for and run by members and they go on to say the co-ops would be an alternative to a government run health insurance program.
