 Reality shows with celebrity 1 kids are no longer allowed to be produced and broadcast on TV, according to a circular released by the media regulator.


媒体监管部门(新闻出版广电总局)近日下发通知称,不允许再制作、播出明星子女参与的真人秀电视节目。
The State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT) announced the ban, saying reality shows must be "strictly 2 controlled."
国家新闻出版广电总局宣布了该禁令,要对真人秀节目进行严格调控。
Some local TV stations have already canceled programs starring celebrities 3 and their children, including the popular "Dad! Where Are We Going?" and "Dad Came Back," following the SAPPRFT's announcement.
通知下发后,一些地方卫视已取消了《爸爸去哪儿》、《爸爸回来了》等明星及其子女出演的热播节目。

SAPPRFT statistics revealed that in 2015 more than 100 entertainment programs were broadcast on TV nationwide, many of which were reality shows featuring children, generating over 10 billion yuan (1.55 billion US dollars) in advertising 4 revenue.
据国家新闻出版广电总局统计数据显示,2015年,全国卫视频道有100余档综艺节目播出,其广告市场份额也超过百亿元(折合15.5亿美元),其中不乏一些儿童真人秀节目。
