First up though,we are talking about hurricanes because that is what forecasters of Carolado state university are talking about.Every year they make predictions about the Atlantic hurricane season.It starts on June first and last through the end of Novermber.Although storms can form outside that season as well.this year the Carolado state forecasters say we are in for a less active season.they are predicting ten main storms.they think only four of them will become hurricanes.Couple of things to keep in mind here though.One these forecasts are not perfect.Last year,Carolado state predicted sixteen main storms,we have nineteen.Two,even if just one storm makes landfall,it can still cause serious consequences.Forecaster say it is important to prepare the same for every hurricane season.
 
Turning to another type of severe weather now.Tornados,most of them only last a few minutes.They can have a very serious impact,like the ones we reported on that hit Texas earlier this week.The national weather service says these twisters might have rated up to an EF three on the enhance 2 for full G skill.What does that mean in the terms of the damage that the tornado 1 can cause.Well,that is one of the things that C.M explains in this breakdown 3.
 
Technically,tornado was just a violent rotating 5 cloud of bare coming out of the bottom of the thunder storm.But it takes a lot to get that while the rotating cloud to come out.All you need for a tornado really to form though are thunder storms and a jet stream that just make sure their loft 6 makes the energy.If you have moistured the surface,dry your cold,You push that moisture up you can get a tornado to form in any states.Those days all the ingredients combine.You get the humidity 7.You get them drier.You get the jet stream.You get uper energy in the jet stream.You get winds turnning as you go a loft.the higher you go,the winds really change direction,that can cause storms.Those things all caused storms to excess,you can get a big.Those of ingredients that cause a big tornado day.
 
So now the EF skill,if enhanced 8 full G skills.Starts from Zero,goes only to five.Anything above to a mile per hour,it consider to be EF five tornado.If you have a zero,you are gonna lose singles.A one you may lose a couple of bords on the roof.A two,you lose all the windows and maybe even a wall.A three,EF three,you will lose a couple of walls on the outside but there will still be a part of the home standing 9.And that four,most of the home is gone but you still see the refrigerator,you still see a closet and you still see the bathroom.EF five you can not find the house.It is completely bare.We do not know how big that full G skill will be.How big that tornado will be.then Until after we look at the damage.
 
We have this.this is almost triangulation that nowhere the country in the road,no region in the world.You have the rocky moutain to our west.You have the Gulf 10 of Mexico in our south.We have Canada and every cold air masses,coming down from the north.All of those things combined,made tornado out,typically the places.Texas,Okalohoma,Kansas,N.B.S.K ,all the way Chicago,as far south as the Southeastern including J,Alabama that is basically the new or the bigger tornado ally 4.
 
The greatest threatable tornado is being hit by something that the tornado is moving.Outside or for not protected inside if you hit by a hundred and forty mile per hour two by four,you are going to be killed.So you need to be inside on the lowest level.Somewhere in the middle of the home or away from the winds.When you hear the word warning,and you hear your counting,that is when you need to take cover.You hear the word watch,that means something might happen today.Let us have a plan.And when you heard the word warning,it is too late to make a plan.you need alreay have a plan.Warning is a log word.It is the bad one.
