M: Here you are.

F: Goodbye.

A: Excuse me. Can you tell me the way to baker’s street, please?

B: Yes. Go along this road for about 200 yards, you come to some traffic lights, go straight ahead, at the next traffic light turn right, and the baker’s street is the third street on the left.

A: Thank you very much.

B: You are welcome.

TRACK TWO

ASKING AND GIVING DIRECTIONS

A: Right, I think that’s all the shopping.

A: Can you tell me the way to Kent Street, please?

B: Oh, I am sorry. There isn’t a hospital in this town. The nearest hospital is 20 miles away.

A: Oh, is there a doctor’s near here?

B: Yes, go to the end of the road and turn left, there is a doctor’s surgery 3 about 200 yards on the right.
