The word toner comes from the verb to tone 1, "tone," which has a couple of different meanings,  润肤水,这个词来自动词“绷紧”,它有好几个意思,

but is often used when you are talking about your muscles -that you want to make your muscles stronger so that they look better.  但是当你谈论你的肌肉时,比如说你想让你的肌肉更强壮,看起来更好,经常用到它。
This is a case of using the word as a noun 2, with an "r" at the end,  toner, 润肤水toner是它作名词的一个例子,在末尾有一个“r”,
and as we said, it is a liquid that some women put on their face at night.  之前说过,它是一些妇女在晚上涂在脸上的液体。
After Lucy puts this toner on her face, then she puts on "some moisturizer."  在露西把这种润肤水涂在脸上之后,她又抹了一层“保湿霜”。
Moisturizer, "moisturizer," comes from the word moist 3, "moist," which means wet,the opposite of dry. 保湿霜"moisturizer",来自单词湿润的"moist",意思是湿的,干的反义词。
If we say something is moist, we mean that it is wet - there is water on it. 如果我们说某物是潮湿的,意思是它是湿的——上面有水。
A moisturizer, as a noun, is a liquid that women put on their face, and sometimes their arms and legs,  保湿霜,作名词,是指女性涂在脸上的液体,有时是胳膊和腿,
to make the skin less dry - to give their skin more moisture 4, which is another noun that comes from the word moist.   会给她们的皮肤提供更多的水分,不让皮肤那么干燥。水分“moisture”,是另一个是来自单词潮湿"moist"的名词。
It also makes their skin a little softer.  保湿霜也会使她们的皮肤变得更柔软。
Then Lucy combs her hair and ties "it back."   然后露西梳理她的头发,把它绑起来。
To comb, "comb," as a verb, means to use an instrument to straighten your hair  梳,"comb",作为动词,意思是使用一个工具来理顺你的头发,
to put it in a certain place - to move your hair in a certain way.  然后用某种方式移动你的头发,把它固定在一个位置。
The thing that you use is called a comb, "comb."  So, it's both a verb and a noun.  你使用的东西叫做梳子,"comb" 。所以,它既是动词又是名词。
A comb is usually a long piece of plastic, sometimes metal, that has little - almost like little sticks that come out of it,  梳子通常是一块长塑料,有时是金属,里面有从主体部分伸出来的类似小棍的东西,
and we call those little sticks the teeth of the comb, just like your teeth in your mouth. 我们把那些小棍状物叫做梳子的齿,就像你嘴里的牙齿一样。
