W: How much would it be?


M: 95 dollars including tax.


W: Could I have a look at the room?


M: Sure, come this way, please.

M: Do you have a double room with twin beds?


W: Have you booked in advance?


M: No, I haven’t.


W: OK, and we do have a double room with twin beds available.


M: What’s the daily rate?


W: 60 dollars a night.


M: Is hot water available any time?


W: Yes, sir. Would you fill in this registration 1 form, please?


M: Could you show me something less expensive?


W: Yes, of course. Right this way, please.


Dialogue 3.


W: Do you have any vacancies 2?


M: Yes, we have a nice room on the fourth floor.


W: How much is it?


M: 85 dollars a night plus tax.


W: OK. Does it include breakfast?


M: Yes, man. And could I have you name?


W: Mary Lee.


M: How long do you want to stay?


W: 8 days. And could you send a bill hop 3 to pick up my luggage?


M: Sure. We will be there in a few minutes.


W: Could you keep my valuables?


M: We’d like to. You may call the attendant 4 if you need any help.

M: Do you have a single room available for 2 nights?


W: I am afraid not, sir. We only have a small suite 5.


M: All right. I’ll take it. And what’s the rate?


W: 50 dollars a night including breakfast.


M: Do you have laundry service?


W: Yes, we do. You may put your clothe into the wash bag in your room and a laundry man is here to collect it.


M: Thank you. Could you show it to me, please?


W: Of course. Just follow me.

M: I’d like to check out now, please. Here is my key. Would you please settle the account for me?


W: OK, sir.


M: Could you bring my baggage down to the lobby 6?


W: I am always at your service. What time are you leaving?


M: At 9 o’clock and I have 3 pieces of baggage.


W: Please leave them outside your room later.


M: Would you get my bill ready?


W: I’ll be right here with you. Here is your bill, sir. Please have a look.


M: Excuse me. What’s this charge?


W: Oh, that’s for laundry.


M: Here is 180 dollars. Please keep the change.


W: Thanks.
