成军于1984年——而后在2008年宣布解散的灵云乐队（Stratovarius）曾是芬兰的国宝级金属天团。他们玩的是金属，最著名的歌曲却是这首抒情到极致的《永远》。即使在距离歌曲面世已经15年的今天，仍有许多乐迷反复咀嚼这十几行简单的歌词，推敲着每种乐器的含义，洋洋洒洒地写下一大篇乐评——所以，称之为改变音乐界的流行经典之一也不为过。
