Yesterday Once More

When I was 1 young, I*d listen to the radio, waiting for my favorite 3 songs. When they played I*d sing along 4. It made 5 me smile. Those were such 6 happy times, and not so long ago. How I wondered 7 where they*d gone. But they*re back again, just like a long-lost friend. All the songs I loved so well. Every sha-la-la-la, every wo-wo still shines 8. Every shing-a-ling -a-ling, that they*re starting to sing, so fine. When they get to the part 9 where he*s breaking her heart 10, it can really make me cry. Just like before, it*s yesterday once more. (Shoo-bee-do-lang -lang, shoo-bee-do-lang-lang.)
Looking back on how it was in years gone by, and the good time that I had 11, makes today seem 12 rather 13 sad; so much has changed. It was songs of love that I would 14 sing to them, and I*d memorize 15 each word. Those old melodies 16 still sound so good to me, as 2 they melt 17 the years away. All my best memories 18 come back clearly 19 to me; some can even 20 make me cry. Just like before, it*s yesterday once more.
