How to tie a scarf into a stylish 1 head wrap?

This head wrap is easy to wear and perfect for a trip to the beach. Keeping your hair out of your face, or like Grace Kelly, wearing under a large rimmed 2 straw hat. You will need a square scarf and a flat surface.

Step one: On a flat surface, fold your scarf diagonally in half so that you will have a triangle with one slightly longer side or base. Start with your hair in a low ponytail, this way it won't get caught in your knots. Once you have the head scarf on, you can take your hair down.

Step two: Center the base against your forehead allowing the top point of the triangle to lay back against your head and pull the two side points back behind your head. Make sure the scarf is above your eyebrow 3. Letting the scarf fall too far down in front of your forehead will ruin the appeal.

Step three: Knot the two side points over the top point of the scarf. Don your oversized sunglasses and pretend you are a celebrity 4 incognito 5. Did you know, in 1956, Grace Kelly, the American actress-turned princess of Monaco sent ripples 6 through the fashion world when she made a makeshift sling 7 for her broken arm out of a silk Hermes scarf.
