Checking in :

What’s the boarding time?

Passengers are to check in to the airport an hour before the plane takes up.

May I see your passport and ticket, please?

Could you tell me what I have to do with my excess baggage?

The weight allowance 1 is twenty kilos per traveller excluding hand luggage.

I’m going to take flight RE103, where do I check in ?

Window No12 is for European flights. Go and stand in the line please.

I’m afraid you'd be in excess baggage charge.

Dialogue 1

A: Flight BE407 to Rome is delayed. Will passengers please wait in the lounge 3.

B: Oh, How annoying!

A: The time of departure will be announced as soon as possible.

B: It’s infuriating. I have to be in Rome by five.

Dialogue 2:

A: We're supposed to check in at the air-china’s counter. Thirty minutes before take off , Joe.

B: Yes ,I know. The boarding time on the ticket says 17:05. And now is 16:15. I guess we have plenty of time.

A: Do we need to show our ID cards when checking in.

B: Yes, It’s essential.

A: What about our luggage?

B: We can check it and hand carry small bags. And we have open each for inspection 4

A: Are they going to frisk all the passengers?

B: I think so. we certainly don’t want a highjack to happen on our plane today.

Dialogue 3:

A: I’m taking BA fright 123 to London. Can you tell me where the reporting desk is, please?

B: Yes, Madam. The reporting desk for the British Airway's flight to London is over there.

A: Thank you so much. Is this the desk for BA flight 123 to London?

C: Yes, this is the right desk. Have you any luggage?

A: The suitcase ,that’s all. Except my handbag. Of course.

C: Would you please put you suitcase on the scales? You needn’t weigh your handbag.

A: Is there a receipt?

C: Yes. I’ll attach your baggage receipt to your ticket.

A: What must I do next?

C: You must go to immigration to the departure lounge.

Dialogue 4:

A: Good morning ,Sir. Where are you going?

B: I’m going to England by flight BE987.

A: When is your flight?

B: 10:00AM. When am I supposed to check in?

A: we arechecking in. May I have your ticket and your health certificate and your luggage please.

B: Here you are.

A: Are you keeping the small bag as carry-on luggage ,sir?

B: Yes.

A: You must weigh that as well.

B: all right.

A: Your luggage is two pounds over. I’m afraid They'll be in excess luggage charge,Sir.

B: How much must I pay?

A: It’s ten yuan.

B: Here you are.

A: This is your luggage check Which You must show when you disembark at your destination and here is your boarding pass and your ticket.

B: Thanks.

A: Now, please wait until your flight is called. There's about twenty-five minutes to go.

B: I’m a little nervous. I’ve never flown before.

A: There’s nothing at all to worry about. Once you are in the air ,it’s just like sitting at your sitting room. It’s going to be a very pleasant flight.
