  Pinocchio went through the water like a shot—swifter and swifter. He came close to the rock. 皮诺乔游得越来越快,像一颗出膛的子弹,游到了礁石那儿。

  When he recovered his senses the Marionette could not remember where he was. 等到这个木偶从昏迷中醒来,已经不记得自己在哪了。
  Around him all was darkness, a darkness so deep and so black that for a moment he thought he had put his head into an inkwell. 他周围漆黑一片,太黑以至于他还以为自己把头钻到了一瓶墨水里。

  Pinocchio at first tried to be brave, 皮诺乔起先想要鼓起勇气,
