1. be poor at something
表示做某件事情做不好。“学艺不精”是不是不太靠谱呢?
例：I am poor at math.
我的数学很不靠谱。
2. unlikely 1
表示可能性不大。如果事情发生的几率不大，这件事情也不怎么靠谱。
例：It's very unlikely that she'll arrive before seven.
她7点前到不太可能。
3. wide of the mark
意思是离预定的目标很远，不符合预期，差了十万八千里。
Yesterday's weather forecast was rather wide of the mark.
昨天的天气预报太不靠谱了。
4. shaky
本身就是“不稳，摇晃”的意思，on shaky ground带有比喻的意思，站在摇晃的地面上，自然也是不牢靠了。
例：His argument rests on shaky ground.
他的论证不太站得住脚。
5. fly-by-night
专门指那些只顾赚钱甚至会使用欺骗手段的人。
例：The carpenter 2 we hired was a fly-by-night worker who did a very bad job.

6. unreliable
表示“不能信任的、不能依靠的”的意思。
They are two of a kind and totally unreliable.
