A website to introduce China's new silk road initiative has been launched in Singapore. The website unveiled Tuesday aims to provide information on China's one belt one road plan for local companies that aim to benefit from the initiative.
The website will also report on business activity along the belt & road region from a Southeast Asian perspective. Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Chen Xiaodong attended the launch ceremony.
"Through this platform we will introduce to our friends from all walks of life what the belt and road initiative is and what our next projects are. Our embassy's next important step is to push for the implementation of the belt and road initiative on local ground," Chen said.
"We will make this website a window to promote the belt and road initiative, and boost business cooperation between China and Singapore. The final goal is like what Chinese leaders say, that the belt and road plan is not a solo of China, but a orchestra composed together by countries along the new silk road," Chairman of Singapore Business Federation Zhang Songsheng said.
