Lemonade，这首歌就像柠檬汁一样，给我们带来活力，带来清爽。既然是一首这么愉悦的歌曲，在今天的音语时光中，canace想与大家分享的也是很阳光知识——与"sun"和"sunny"有关的短语。你准备好了吗？



首先给大家介绍一个西方的谚语：There is nothing new under the sun. 太阳底下没有新鲜事。也就是说事物是循环发展的。注意到这句话中的一个短语叫做"under the sun"，天下。再来说一个口语化的例句：

We used to gossip 2 for hours about everything under the sun.

我们过去一聊便是数小时， 天底下的事无所不谈。



下面我们再来谈一谈其他的短语：

with the sun 朝着太阳转动的方向，顺时针方向。比如：

Theshadow moves with the sun.

这个影子跟着太阳移动.

与with the sun 相反的短语就是 against the sun（逆太阳的视运行方向，逆时针方向）　

look on the sunny side 对事物抱乐观态度。比如：

I always look on the sunny side of things.

我对事情总是抱著乐观的态度。

上面的短语如果我们去掉动词look ，即：on the sunny side of 可以表示“不满/不足……岁”。比如：

Perhaps she is on the sunny side of marriage age but I doubt it.

或许她还未到婚嫁年龄，但我怀疑。

如果要具体说明不足多少岁，直接在"on the sunny side of"后面加上具体的年龄数字就可以了。比如on the sunny side of 30就是“不满三十岁”，其他的以此类推。



下面我们再来继续缩短短语，"sunny side"表示“向阳的一边”，很好理解。"sunny-side up"则是指“（煎蛋时）只煎一面的, 蛋黄朝上的”。 比如：

This sunny-side up egg is only half-done .

这个单面煎的鸡蛋只是半熟。

这句话又给我们提供了一个词语叫做"half-done"，表示“半熟的”。我们还可以用soft boiled来表示相同的意思。煮得老则是hard-boiled.

之前说到煎蛋只煎一面叫做"sunny-side up"，那么“煎两面”我们该怎么表达呢？可以用"over easy"来表示。比如：

Miss, two fried 3 eggs, overeasy and not fried too hard.小姐，我要两个煎蛋，双面，不要煎得过熟。
