如果有一天，机器人进入家庭担任Nanny的角色，你会觉得奇怪吗？近日普特君在看一部英剧《真实的人类》，讲述的就是机器人在我们的生活中普及后的故事。创作者从机器人进入人类社会的角度来探讨人性，可算一部神剧。普特君从中总结了一些常用口语供大家一起学习。
1. show somebody out
把某人送出去
剧中例句：
We’ll show ourselves out.
我们自己出去就行。
Notes: show out的意思是“送客人，把某人送出去”。see somebody out也可以表达同样的意义。客人来访，要离开时我们可以这样说：
Let me show/see you out.
我送你出去。

2. be nuts about热衷于，狂热于
剧中例句：
She was nuts about babies.
她特别喜欢小孩。
Notes: nuts作名词是“坚果”的复数形式，作形容词时意义为“狂热的，热衷的”，有点发烧友的意味。有个短语“go nuts”表示“发疯，失去理智”。例句如下：
Sam is nuts about her.
山姆迷上她了。
My cousin is still nuts about that computer game.
我的表弟仍然热衷于那款电脑游戏。
I would go nuts if she keeps talking like that.
她再那样滔滔不绝我就要发疯了。
3. That’s bollocks!
那是胡扯！
Notes: bollocks表示“胡说，废话”。近义的单词有“nonsense 1”,表示胡言乱语，谬论，愚蠢的行为等；“rubbish”也可表示废话，无聊的想法；“bullshit”表示带有哄骗意味的胡说。例：
She is talking a load of bollocks!
她简直一派胡言！

You are talking nonsense!
你在胡说八道。
This drama is all rubbish.
这部剧就是在胡扯。

4. take it easy on somebody
表示温和对待某人
剧中例句：
He comes in here all the time. Take it easy on him.
他是这里的常客，请好好跟他说。
Notes: take it easy on somebody表示温和地对某人，不要太严厉，放轻松。例如：
You’ve been working so hard these days. Take it easy on yourself.
你这段时间工作得太辛苦了，让自己放松下。
5. crack on
继续做下去
剧中例句：
Here, Laura. Take my place.
劳拉，到这来，坐我的位置。
That’s Ok. You crack on.
没关系。你们继续。
Notes: crack on (with something)表示努力做某事，继续下去，例句如下：
If I crack on with my homework I could finish it tonight.
如果我抓紧写作业，今晚就可以完成。
6. there’s no point in doing something
做某事没有意义
剧中例句：
There’s no point in staring at me.
没必要盯着我看。
Notes: point作为名词可表示“要点”，there’s no point表示没有意义。例：
There’s no point in convincing me of the importance of this job.
劝我相信这份工作的重要性是没有意义的。

7. draw a blank
白费力气，一无所得
剧中例句：
I think she’s posing 2 as a human. She’s changed her eye color, wearing human clothes. That’s why we’re drawing a blank.
我想她是扮成了人类。她更改了瞳孔的颜色，穿上了人类的衣服。这就是为什么我们一直没有进展。
Notes: draw a blank正如它的字面意思，在口语中表示“无结果，无收获，扑空”等。例：
She lost her gloves yesterday and looked for it everywhere but she’s drawn 3 a blank so far.
她昨天把手套弄丢了，到处找，直到现在也没找到。
