Kris Allen是一个来自阿肯色州小岩石镇的阿肯色中央大学大学生，同时也是一名爱好音乐的歌手兼词曲作者。他对音乐的热情真正开始迸发是从13岁时自学了吉他开始，并且在那之后，他通过自学学会了钢琴，小提琴，中提琴和夏威夷四弦琴等几种乐器。他的音乐天赋和他富有灵感的嗓音使他拥有在许多不同场合进行音乐表演的机会，同时也给了他与世界上许多国家的下层贫苦民众分享他的音乐信仰和精神的机遇。Kris是阿肯色州新生命教会在Conway校园的领头人，因此他有许多旅行的机会。他曾经去过西班牙(Spain)，摩洛哥，泰国(Thailand)，缅甸，莫桑比克，南非(South Africa)等许多国家进行音乐表演，与观众分享那些影响人们信念和激励人们意志的歌曲。
