  生活中,有很多让我们“头晕”的情况,感冒了头晕,蹲着突然站起也会头晕,复习期末考试也会头晕!这么多“头晕”,应该怎么用英语表达?


  1. swim
  小编的好友Bunny前一段时间得了重感冒,每天都精神不振的。她拖着重重的鼻音和我说:“我现在头好晕啊,昏昏沉沉的。”
  这句话,用英语说就是:“I feel dizzy 1. My head is swimming.”
  Swim 除了本意“游泳”外,可以表示东西仿佛在旋转,眩晕。比如:
  The room swam before her and she had to lie down again.
  房间好像在她眼前旋转,她只得躺下。
  The drink made his head swim.
  这杯酒让她头晕目眩。
  2. light-headed
  生病头晕和喝酒头晕还可以用“light-headed”表示:
  I was light-headed; I had not slept and I was hungry.
  我头晕,我没合过眼,而且饥肠辘辘。
  有一次呢,小编和Bunny一起去学校,她的鞋带松了。她蹲下系好以后,很快站起来,不过她没有立刻往前走,而是停了几秒钟。我问:“怎么了?(What's wrong?)”,她说:“起得太猛了,头有点晕。”
  这句话用英语表达就是:“I got a head rush from standing 2 up too fast.”
  其实老友记的Joey在第七季第四集就说过这句话呢~~看看他扭曲的表情吧~~3. Freak out
  最后再说说“忙得令人崩溃的头晕”怎么说。
  前一段时间,小编也参加期末考了,复习得昏天黑地呐。好朋友Bunny又出现了,她说:“整本书都是重点!我真是头昏脑胀,快崩溃了!”
  “头昏脑胀,快崩溃了”英语可以这样说“My head is swimming. I'm freaking out!”
  是的,Swim也可以用在这里。Freak out 就是崩溃,抓狂的意思。Freak out也有吓坏,受惊的意思:
  Snakes really freak me out.
  我真的非常害怕蛇。(我看见蛇就吓得半死。)
  总结一下:
  1. 生病了头晕:
  I feel dizzy. My head is swimming. I'm light-headed.
  2. 站立太快头晕:
  I got a head rush from standing up too fast.
