You'd think that this man is at a gym, right? Well...he is actually on a train, one of the most advanced tourist trains in China.
It provides not only fitness equipment...but massages...and even 3D movies...
This tourist train travels about 1,500 kilometers from Yinchuan to Dunhuang with a total travel time of over 17 hours.
Different from bullet trains which are known for speed...this train is aimed at providing multiple services.... exercise ....reading...watching movies or even going to a bar....
"Tourists usually stay in scenic spots for one or two days...and in most cases, they spend much more time on the train. And we want to provide them with this special experience, so that train travel can actually become part of the fun," said Wang Dalin, train captain.
In addition to the tourist trains, the entire railway system is offering more direct destination trains. From Beijing, you can now reach the Southeast city of Zhanjiang, southwest city of Kunming and northwest city of Dunhuang. Covering almost all the major scenic spots across the country.
And, the new roadmap provides more options for those in small cities and counties. People in Sanjiang county in Southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region can now travel directly to Guangzhou in Guangdong. And about 100 trains connecting cities all over the country to Southeast China's Fujian Province will be opened this year.
