找工作的时候，什么专业最热门呢？有人说是金融，有人说是法律，还有人说是外语。其实，用人单位除了考虑专业背景外，更加看重的是你的“口袋技能”。
Pocket skills are skills that are needed in all workplaces, such as thinking skill and communications skill, no matter what industry you are in. For instance, thinking skill may help you quickly get the main idea of a report, point out the drawbacks and offer your advice for improvement; and when there is a disagreement or conflict, your communications skill may enable you to deal with it。
所谓“口袋技能”(pocket skill)，就是无论身处哪一行业，哪些岗位，都能随时拿出来用的技能。例如思维能力，给你看一份报告，你能否简练地概括其内容，指出存在的缺陷，提出改进意见。又如沟通能力，当别人不同意你的做法时，或者双方观点发生冲突时，该如何应付。
When hiring, many companies are more concerned about pocket skills such as teamwork than specific majors, except for research and development positions。
目前在许多用人单位，除了研发类岗位之外，许多岗位并不强求人才的专业对口，而更看重团队合作等“口袋技能”。
