Good morning from the CNN Center here in Atlanta. I'm Melissa Long with some of the headlines that are NOW IN THE NEWS.
A Marine 1 wanted for the murder of his pregnant colleague has been captured in Mexico. Corporal Cesar Laurean has been a fugitive 2 since January. He was taken into custody 3 when he gave his name to authorities at a roadblock. The process of extraditing Laurean back to North Carolina has started.
Pirates have released 30 hostages that were being held on a tourist yacht. France's President made that announcement this morning. The pirates seized the boat and its crew off the Coast of Somalia a week ago now. No passengers were on board and no word on where the hostages are now.
Take a look at this dramatic video of a car on fire in Tucson Arizona. What's so frightening is a family, including a baby were inside when the flames erupted yesterday. Two good Samaritans rendered their rescue. There is no word on what caused that fire.
Cats may have nine lives, but this dog does better. Well, does them? I guess a bit better. He takes out the trash. The owner of 5-year-old Ronin says it all started when he told the Bull Mastiff to fetch him a spare tire and the doggy did. Doggy doing a little bit housework we're not sure if he gets allowance or not, pretty cute.
