这句著名的俚语“the pen is mightier 1 than the sword(文字的力量胜于武力)”出自英国著名小说家Edward Bulwer Lytton(爱德华·沃布尔·利顿)笔下。 --Beneath the rule of men entirely 2 great,The pen is mightier than the sword。” 不得不说一下,“the pen is mightier than the sword”问世之后,很快就成了炙手可热的“明星”。 I'd rather be a writer than a general, because the pen is mightier than the sword.(我情愿成为一名作家而不是将军,因为文字的力量胜于武力。)
