CCTV has spoken to Dr Dan Plesch, from the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy 1 at the University of London. Dr. Plesch says the validity of the document is indisputable.
The complete document is stored in Britain’s archives, including the video, photos and detailed 3 explanations. Plesch says the Declaration is an important agreement that led to the end of World War Two. He notes that it states the solution to territorial 4 and border issues, and he says any defiant 5 moves are "potentially highly destabilizing with respect to international order."
"It’s valid 2 because it was part of formally part of the Japanese surrender agreement legally, and then subsequently reaffirm by Japanese and American governments. So this is quite clear legally even it is inconvenient 6 to some western interests. For Japan to want to forget the Cairo Declaration On its territory is rather like Germany deciding it wants to forget about the border with Poland. If Germany did this in European. Would be unthinkable And will destabilize the whole Europe." said Dr. Dan Plesch.
