（我知道得很清楚。）
用only too来强调know，表示知道得非常彻底。only too表示非常，很的意思，但在语气上比only too程度强，又表示太过了的含义，所以有时候会有故意说反话的含义。
对话一：
A:I'm sorry you failed 2 the test.
（你考试没通过，我很遗憾。）
B:I'm just so upset 3 with myself 4.
（我真生我自己的气。）
A：I know only too well how you feel.
（我很了解你现在的心情。）
B：You do?
（你知道？）
A:Sure,I've failed my tests ,too.
(当然，我也没考及格。）
B:Then you do know how I feel.
(那么你真的知道我的感受啦。）
对话二：
A:Tom is so down that he won't talk to anyone 5.
（汤姆好沮丧，他不跟任何人讲话。）
B:I know only too well what that's like.
（我很能理解那种感觉。）
A:What do you mean?
(什么意思？）
B:I was 6 very sad when I was laid 7 off 8 last year.
(去年当我被解雇时我也如此悲伤。）

#当你听到一件不辛的消息，你要向对方表示你的关怀时，可以用I'm sorry这个句型，下面接对方所遇到的不辛事件。
For example:
I'm sorry you got 9 laid off.
