Patient: Hi, this is Emily Wang, I want to see a doctor today.


Tia: Your medical card No., please?


Patient: GRH789051


Tia: Thanks. Do you have an appointment, Ms. Wang?


Patient: No. But it is urgent, and I need to see a doctor as soon as possible. I am really in bad shape.


Tia: What is the matter?


Patient: I have a high fever and a bad headache.


Tia: Have you taken your temperature?


Patient: Yes, I took my temperature last night. It was 102 degrees. But right now I feel my fevers is up to 103 degrees.


Tia: Anything else bothering you?

Doctor Lee: Where is the pain? Could you show me please?


Sarah: Here.


Doctor Lee: What kind of pain? Sharp pain, dull pain or severe pain?


Sarah: Sharp pain.


Doctor Lee: Is the pain continuous?


Sarah: No, It is not continuous. It comes and goes.


Doctor Lee: Please lie down over there.


Sarah: All right.


Doctor Lee: Does it hurt when I push here?


Sarah: No.


Doctor Lee: What about here?


Sarah: Not really.


Doctor Lee: How long have you been like this?


Sarah: For about a month.


Doctor Lee: How about your appetite?

Sarah: No constipation. Everything seems OK.


Doctor Lee: The nurse said your temperature and pulse are normal. How is your husband doing?


Sarah: Great. And my husband just had a complete medical checkup paid for by his company. They say he is in excellent condition. And to answer your next question before you ask, our sex life is wonderful.


Doctor Lee: Excellent. I am glad to hear that. You know, the nurse ran some basic tests on the urine sample you give her. One of those test give a positive indication for pregnancy 8. That is why she took blood sample. The blood tests also indicated pregnancy. Congratulations!


Sarah: You are kidding! I can not believe that.


Doctor Lee: We'll need to do some more tests.


Sarah: I am 45 years old! That specialist you sent me to 10 years ago said I couldn't have a baby.


Doctor Lee: I am sure she'll be surprised!
