Top republicans are urging President Trump 1 to back away from his plan to impose trade tariffs 2. Trump is threatening to put the tariffs on imported steel and aluminum 3, including imports from Canada and Mexico.


South Korea says a delegation 4 it sent to North Korea met with Kim Jong Un. It's the first time South Korean officials met with the North Korean leader since he took office.


Protesters at Michigan State University clashed with police and supporters of white nationalist, Richard Spencer. Police say at least a dozen people were arrested during Spencer's visit to the school.


And Oregon Governor, Kate Brown, signed a law stopping domestic abusers and people under restraining orders from owning firearms. It's the first new gun control law in the US since the
