A Dallas paramedic is in critical condition after being shot while responding to a call about a shooting. Police say there was a dispute between two neighbors. The suspected gunman was later found dead in a home.
The White House is defending President Trump’s invitation to Philippine leader Rodrigo Duterte, saying it’s an opportunity for the US to work without the countries who can help isolate 1 North Korea. Human rights groups have accused Duterte of mass murder because of anti-drug crackdown. Duterte says he has not accepted the invitation because of other scheduled trips.
Immigrants and labor 2 leaders marked International Workers’ Day with marches and rallies 3. May Day rallies will held a nationwide to oppose President Trump’s immigration policies.
And Space X launched a top-secrets spy satellite for the US government Monday. The unmanned Falcon-9 rocket lifted off from its NASA-leased pad at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The booster then made a successful touchdown several minutes later.
