 Former Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt 1 Romney urged Americans not to vote for Donald Trump 2. In a nearly 20 minute speech, Romney said the prospects 4 for a safe future are greatly diminished if Trump is elected. He also questioned Trump’s trustworthiness, calling him promises “as worthless as a degree from Trump University”. 


 
Shortly after, Donald Trump hitting back at Romney’s comments. At a campaign event in Maine, Trump said Romney begged for his endorsement 5 in 2012. Trump then leveled a number of personal attacks, and said Romney should’ve won against Barack Obama.
