2. House democrats 3 have re-elected Nancy Pelosi as their leader. The California lawmaker's win came despite disappointment in the democratic caucus 4 over the party election results.
3. Five people are dead from suspected tornadoes 5 that swept across parts of Alabama and Tennessee early Wednesday. Dozens of buildings were also damaged or destroyed. Although deadly, the storms brought heavy some rain which is welcomed by in areas affected 6 by wildfires and dry conditions.
4. And thousands lined the streets of Havana Wednesday to bid farewell to their late leader Fidel Castro as his ashes began a 4-day journey across the country. The ashes will be in intered Sunday, ending the 9-day mourning period for the man who ruled the country for nearly 50 years.
