该片讲述了在两位女王统治下的冰雪王国，猎神与萨拉相爱，违反了冰雪女王的禁令，为了终结两位女王对这个王国的邪恶统治，他们与两位女王展开了对抗的故事。影片于4月22日在中国大陆、美国同步上映。主题曲是由Halsey演唱的Castle，沙哑又充满力量的声音，不少小伙伴表示都在起身离开座位的时候，被这首歌又按回了座椅。
