-She's one of our hottest stars treading 1 everywhere, Kendall Jenner, the 19-year-old sister of Kim Kardashian. Kendall has just signed on as a new face of Estee Lauder, and she's opening up about her famous family, her runway shows and so much more. Here's ABC's Jojo Chen.She's the in-girl fashion model of the season, but while sister Kim is busy trained to break the Internet on a cover of People magazine, Kendall Jenner is just trying to break out, making a name for herself as a model.
-That was what the jealous 2 girls say that Oh, she's treading in the Kardashian/Jenner name and cashing it for a career.
-Yeah, in reality, I worked pretty hard for this. I'm grounding around doing tests. It wasn't like I just got it magically and it just happens.
-So what made you want a model?
-I were just always been looking it, these super models, who were just like so amazing to me. They were like super heros. I want to be the best role model I can be to a little girl or to a little boy or to anybody.
-You early on banned Kim and your sisters from coming to the shows. Why?
-Banned is a strong word. It was more than usual understanding. I think that if my sister was sitting front row, and my sister is who she is. And, I know it sounds kind of weird 3, but it will almost take the attention away from what I'm trying to do on my own.
Now, a new lamb, marking her young career, just this weekend becoming the newest face of Estee Lauder.
-And what makes it such a big deal?
-Estee Lauder is one of the most prestigious 4 brands in our entire business.
It doesn't hurt that she's got 16 million followers 5 on Instergram and over 9 million Twitter followers, but she's still a teenager, appearing naked 6 in photo shots and res* on the runway.
-But would you say to critics? Say, why show this much of your n*?
-Because it's gonna argue with my check-ups. So it's a pretty view of **. You know what I mean, I do not regret it.
-So you don't care about these folks who were saying. Oh, she's an exhibitionist, don't get over it.
Also rising eyebrows 7 recently, those questions about her relationship with the certain hot young singer.
-That's one of the rumors 8 saying you're dating Justin Bieber.
-No, he's been a, he's a long time friend of our family, so everybody loves to assume 9 things, but no.
-Are you in a relationship?
-No, I'm not. I'm truly focusing on my career. If it comes, it comes.
