The Swing At The End Of The World
The Swing At The End of the World has become a tourist attraction in the mountains of Ecuador. The swing hangs from two ropes tied to a tree branch next to a rickety tree house on the top of a cliff. The tree house is a seismic monitoring station called Casa del Arbol (The Tree house). It is used to observe Mt. Tungurahua, an active volcano. Unlike other rides and attractions for thrill-seekers, this swing has no safety measures. Brave visitors who want to swing over the canyon do so at their own risk
