give in (to)接受（原本反对的事情），服从……屈服，提交(hand in)
在经过一番劝说之后，接受原本反对的事情。如果是互相争吵的状况，就表示屈服或投降的意思。另外，give in 也可以像 hand in 一样表示“提交某物”。
例句：
You're going to give in eventually.
