1. I wish I had 2
wish后接宾语从句,表示未完成或不能完成的愿望,引导词that常可省略,从句的谓语动词通常用虚拟语气,可分为以下三种情形。
1) 从句的谓语动词用动词的过去式(be动词多用were),表示与现在事实相反的愿望。如:
I wish I knew what is happening outside space.
但愿我知道太空外正在发生什么事。
2) 从句的谓语动词用"had+过去分词",表示与过去的事实相反的愿望。如:
They wished they hadn't attended 3 the palace 4 ball.他们想，要是他们没有参加那次宫廷舞会就好了。
3) 从句的谓语动词用"would 5 / could 6 / should+动词原形",表示对将来的希望。如:
I wish you would succeed 7 in borrowing 8 some money from the mean man.
但愿你能成功地从那个吝啬的人那里借些钱。

aux.will的过去式；愿，要；常常；大概；将要，会
- Why would you say that?为什么你会这么说？
- Would you please help me?你能帮帮我吗？
6 could
v.能，可能(can的过去式)；aux.v.(can的过去式)能；可以
- Could I open the window?我可以打开窗子吗？
- I could wait ten minutes.我可以等十分钟。
7 succeed
vt.成功，继承，继续；vi.接替，有作为

8 borrowing
