A:Hi,Jack.
嗨，杰克。
B:Hello,Tony!What did you do yesterday?
嗨，托尼。你昨天做了什么？
A:We went to a buffet 1 yesterday and Bill really surprised me.
我们昨天去吃了自助餐。比尔真是让我大吃一惊。
B:What do you mean?
你什么意思？
A:I've never seen anybody that thin could put away so much food!
我从来没看过那么瘦，还能吃那么多的人。
B:He ate a lot?
他吃的多？
A:You bet!Too much!Generally speaking,if a person drinks too much beer or eats much,he is bound to have a big belly,but he doesn't have such problem at all.
没错，太多了。一般来说，喝很多啤酒或者吃很多东西的人都会有个大肚腩。可是他根本没有这个问题。
B:So strange!I guess he's just one of those people who eat everything but never get fat.
太奇怪了。我想他就是那种怎么吃都吃不胖的人吧。
