     Gwen Stefani被人们所知是因为她是美国著名Ska-Punk风格的No Doubt乐队主唱，在这支多次获得格莱美奖的乐队中，Gwen Stefani性感而富有征服力的演唱是乐队最吸引人的地方，Gwen Stefani也成为了乐队绝对的标志性人物和领导核心。1969年10月3日，Gwen Stefani出生在美国加利福尼亚州的小城Fullerton，她和做键盘手的哥哥Eric Stefani以及主唱John Spence受到一些新浪潮乐队的影响，于1987年初的时候，在加利福尼亚州西南部城市阿纳海姆创建了No Doubt的乐队。尽管乐队成员John Spence后来因故自杀，但是No Doubt乐队阵容稳定后，还是于1992年Interscope唱片公司发行了第一张专辑《No Doubt》，并且在之后十多年时间里发行的多张专辑取得了很大的成功，同时还让他们获得了连续两届格莱美奖的最佳流行乐队奖。

　　在No Doubt乐队里，Gwen Stefani真正成为乐队明星成员是从1995年10月10日的第二张专辑《Tragic Kingdom》开始的，而这张专辑也正是乐队取得商业上突破的成功之始。No Doubt乐队的女主唱Gwen Stefani以其中性的发型，性感的着装，以及女权主义者的强硬随着这张专辑而被更多的人所熟知。而在此后的时间里，Gwen Stefani也是经常开始以个人身份作为一些明星专辑的客串嘉宾。2001年Gwen Stefani和说唱女歌星Eve演唱的单曲《Let Me Blow Ya Mind》获得了第44届格莱美最佳说唱歌曲合作奖，这首歌曲的获奖也肯定了Gwen Stefani个人的实力。2004年开始，Gwen Stefani开始着力于自己的首张个人专辑的录制，并在各种场合进行宣传，最终这张《Love.Angel.Music.Baby》在11月23日正式发行。
