The final installment 1 of Chinese box office hit "the Ex-file" is set for nation-wide distribution later this week after premiering in Beijing.
This time the story centers on two pairs of lovers who intend to recover after a breakup of their respective relationships.
Tian Yusheng is the director of the series.
"The series is meant to remind us of our youth. Many of the film's fans have told me that it reminds them of their past dating experiences. I feel quite touched."
Zheng Kai, who stars in the previous two installments 2 of the "Ex-file" series, costars with Han Geng in "Ex-file, The return of the Exes."
The first edition in the series which debuted 3 in 2014 grabbed around 130-million yuan in box office earnings 4.
The final installment in the series is due out in theatres across China on Friday.
