These are alternative forms of the past tense and past participle of the verb learn. Both are acceptable, but learned is often used in both British English and American English, while learnt is much more common in British English than in American English.

  Learnt和learned都是动词learn的过去式和过去分词形式。两者都是正确的,learned在美式英语和英式英语中都可以使用,但learnt在英式英语中使用更多。
We learned the news at about three o'clock.
  我们在大约3点的时候学习了新闻。
They learnt the train times by heart.
  他凭记忆得知了火车时间表。
  有许多其他动词,其过去式和过去分词的构造模式与此类似:
I burned/burnt the toast by mistake.
  我不小心烤焦了面包。
  He dreamed/dreamt about his holiday.
  他幻想着他的假期。
Luke kneeled/knelt down to find his contact lens.
  卢克跪在地上寻找他的隐形眼镜。
She spelled/spelt her surname an unusual way.
  她用一种特殊的方式拼写她的姓氏。
Leap, lean, spill, and others are also verbs of this type.
  Leap,lean,spill和一些其他词汇也都属于这种类型。
Learned(but not learnt) is also an adjective, pronounced as two syllables 2 (?l?rn|?d) rather than the one syllable 1 verb (l??nt or l??nd). The adjective, when said of a person, means 'having acquired much knowledge through study'. It can also be used of objects, meaning 'showing, requiring, or characterized by learning; scholarly'.
  Learned(learnt不是)也是一个形容词,其发音为两个音节(?l?rn |?d)而不是一个音节(l??nt或l??nd)。Learned作形容词形容人时,表示:通过学习研究获得了很多知识,即“学识渊博的”。Learned也可以修饰物品,这意味着“具有学术特点的;学术上的”。
She is a learned and respected teacher.
  她是一个博学且受人尊敬的老师。
I read the report in an extremely learned journal.
  我在一份学术期刊上阅读了这篇报告。
