来自美国洛杉矶的The Shore，风格却是是英伦的，曾经看到过一个关于他们的采访，当谈到对他们影响最深的艺人时，他们说是The Byrds、The Beatles、Coldplay、Oasis等。在名单中除了The Byrds和他们来自同一城市外，剩下的全部都是来自大洋彼岸的英伦乐队。他们自称是一支Indie Rock乐队，但其实在他们身上Indie的风格太少了，几乎被英伦味所掩盖了。
04年的那张同名处女专辑没能使乐队火速蹿红，但是通过网络让乐队在中国不可思议的聚攒了大量的人气。以至于早在3个月前就有人通过各种渠道找出了新专辑《Light Years》中的5首歌曲作为解馋试听。光凭专辑一共13首中的5首歌就能给整个专辑打上高分是很困难的，但是The Shore他们做到了。
长达4年的等待并没有让人失望，在加入吉他手Wayne Faler后使乐队编制变为4人后他们朝着更高的高度出发了。如果把他们算作是英国乐队的话，这张专辑足以匹敌今年任何英式大牌的新专辑。作为声音酷似Oasis主唱Liam的Ben Ashley还是依旧那么让人神魂颠倒，其中所透露出的那股嚣张与痞气简直就是与Oasis一脉相承。《Wandering Light》可以算是最具有代表性的歌曲，浓重的英腔，一丝温暖，一丝慵懒，很难让你发觉这是一支来自美国的乐队。乐队这次的新专辑只选择了以数字形式发表，看来乐队是要把低调进行到底了。(转自新浪)
