皇后乐队经典之作: Bohemian Rhapsody 波西米亚狂想曲

在英国摇滚史上，若说有哪个乐队可与“甲壳虫”相媲美，那指的一定是“皇后”。它也被称为“学士乐队”，因四位成员均具有“本科学历”，专业分别为艺术学、电子学、天文学和生物学。其中主修艺术的这位，即是freddie mercury，他是这个乐队的主唱、键盘手，和灵魂。1975年，专辑《歌剧院之夜》出版，主打歌《波希米亚狂想曲》（《bohemian rhapsody》）雄据英国排行榜冠军位置长达九周，打破了以往的纪录，queen遂声名大噪，尤以freddie性感而又华丽的穿透性声音而著称。

当时的评论说这首歌曲在悠扬中蕴涵无尽伤痛的情绪，充分体现了乐队唯美精致的乐风。 　　

在酷似歌剧唱诗般的华丽配乐中不断加入大段的重金属吉他 riff 和 solo 1，这正是 Queen 的典型风格。歌曲的制作过程也体现了 Queen 那种典型的精益求精的态度，他们用了 3 个星期的时间来进行录制工作，而且在歌曲的音轨上加入了大量的背景配音，以至于在录制完成后，母带的有些地方磁粉已经薄到可以看穿的地步。
